Employing a personal therapist means that you have more control of the therapeutic process. Input can be as long or short as you require.

- I specialise in working with adults who have experienced large or small traumas (e.g. bullying, accidents, medical trauma, or abuse), or specific phobias.
- I have a special interests in Autism, Learning Disabilities, Gender Dysphoria, PTSD, C-PTSD, Personality Disorder, DID.
- I have experience working with LGBTQ clients, dementia.
- I am comfortable working with people with diagnoses that sit outside of my specialisms (e.g, OCD, grief), and have over 20 years experience working clinically with adults, people with learning disabilities, older adults, children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

- I work integratively, using the best aspects of approaches that are informed by the most recent evidence.
- I use EMDR, IFS, Systemic and Psychodynamic and Positive Behaviour Support approaches. I also draw upon ACT and SFT.

- Reflective Supervision/Workshops (for staff teams or providers of health and social care)

Booking options are flexible
- Therapeutic interventions that involve regular weekly or fortnightly meetings.
- Open ended bookings (with a clear set of therapeutic goals)
- Shorter blocks of sessions if you feel the need to explore a particular theme in more detail in a safe and protected environment. For example a specific social difficulty or adjustment to changes.
- A weekly space to think and reflect on the issues affecting you away from daily demands and stressors.
- A longer term therapeutic relationship where you see me as and when difficulties arise on a "book and go" system.
- Regular 4 or 8 weekly Clinical or Practice supervision
- Ad-hoc Clinical or Practice Supervision.
- Ad-hoc or regular Consultation
I do not have a 'cut off' or criteria except in cases of risk where I may recommend a team approach.
